Too many in the Art world seem to think
they need to be incomprehensible
just to show they are
intellectual.
In this way they conform to one another
by pretending not to conform with lesser mortals.

Nowadays it is fashionable to contrive the paint
to be left running down the canvas just as if it
'spontaneously happened'. Maybe the first time that
'happened' one took notice as it was funny.
But now it 'happens' all the time.

Sometimes the work of
art is so 'intellectual'
that the artist needs
to explain all it's
hidden nuances
at length.

I'll be Fresh by being straightforward,
True to how I really feel.
